Tina Benson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Tina started her education at Colby Community College before receiving her Bachelor’s at Metro State College of Denver and her Master’s from the University of Colorado. Tina’s over 15 years experience as a nurse has given her the expertise and hands on knowledge to care for her patients. She has certifications in fields such as: neonatal, pediatric, and adult trauma care. Tina started her career in long term care before transitioning to acute care where she worked in a step down Intensive Care Unit in Colorado.

She decided to become a Nurse Practitioner early in life. Her life’s goal began in the 7th grade when a Nurse Practitioner gave a talk about the ARNP profession. She was hooked.

“I’m really having fun! I’m doing what I have spent the last 10 years training to do. I am a cardiac nurse by trade but I am interested in diabetes and preventative medicine. It is my job to give you the skills and resources you need to obtain a state of wellness. Patient education, wellness promotion, and illness prevention are important to me. I hope to establish a collaborative relationship with you so we can work together to reach mutual goals.”

Tina’s practice truly embraces family medicine. She provides care to patients across the lifespan and provides care that coincides with the patient’s needs during that stage of their life.

Tina is a northwest Kansas native. She was born in Colby and raised in Menlo. In her spare time Tina enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
