Welcome to Citizens Medical Center, Inc.

Student orientation is conducted by the Education Department to ensure that students have a general understanding of the Medical Center, rules and regulations, and confidentiality, among other topics.  Opportunities are available at Citizens Medical Center, Family Center for Health Care, and Prairie Senior Living Complex. 

Please provide the Education Department with the following documents:

  1. A copy of a current TB skin test.
  2. A copy of a current CPR for Healthcare Professionals card.
  3. A copy of current vaccination record.

We currently offer educational opportunities for students in the following disciplines:

  • Medicine
  • Advanced Practice Nursing
  • Physician Assistant
  • Nursing
  • Physical Therapy
  • Radiology
  • Laboratory
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • Nurse Aide
  • Speech Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy

In addition, we offer educational opportunities for preschool to high school aged students.

Scholarships:

Citizens Medical Center, Inc. provides students pursuing a health care profession in selected disciplines monetary support during school in return for professional service after graduation.  We are currently offering support to students pursuing the following health professions:

  1. Registered Nurse (RN)
  2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship:
