Cares for and provides basic needs and safety for children 6 weeks old to school age, and uses the best practices to help children grow cognitively, linguistically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

To assist the technical staff of the laboratory in basic laboratory procedures, to include specimen procurement, and perform assigned clerical duties.

Under the supervision and direction of an RN, assist professional nursing staff by performing basic patient care activities, clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the Emergency Department.

Experienced OB & ER Nurses
Under the supervision of the Department Director and/or Nurse Supervisor, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other health care team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice. 
 
Ward Secretary
Part time or PRN
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or designee and/or Nursing Supervisor, assists in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities occurring at the nursing station by performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area.
 
Plant Operations:
Maintenance Mechanic
Full-time
Performs preventative maintenance work, does building and equipment repair, occasionally does grounds keeping work and does other work as assigned by the supervisor at both Citizens Medical Center and Prairie Senior Living Complex. Requires taking call as needed.
 
Radiology:
Sonographer
Full-time
Capable of independently performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.    
 
Administrative Assistant
Full-time
Responsible for scheduling the Radiology Department exams and for registration of patients, pre-certification of scheduled exams, film librarian (hard and digital copies).  Functions as administrative assistant to the Radiology Manager.  Assists radiologic technologists in film, exam retrieval, PACS and explaining exam preparations to patients.   
 
Social Services
Social Worker, LBSW
Full-time 
The Social Worker is responsible for provision of social services consultation in accordance with accepted social work practice and hospital policies and procedures.  To assist in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients, to achieve their optimal level of health. 
 
 

Prairie Senior Living Complex:

Nursing Services:
RN/ LPN II
Full-time and Part-time
Offering a New Philosophy of Long Term care with excellent pay and benefits.  Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, coordinates total nursing care for residents, participates in resident, employee, and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with all other members of the health care team.
 
CNA
Full-time and Part-time
Under the supervision and direction of the Charge Nurse and/or Director of Nursing, assists professional nursing staff by performing resident care activities and related nonprofessional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents.
 
 
 

Family Center for Health Care:

 
MA/LPN/LPN II
Full-time 
MA - Assists medical providers by providing patient care; to include patient assessment, assisting with procedures, and performing various tests as assigned.  Performs appropriate telephone triage using established practice guidelines.  Reviews patient medication history and prepares prescription requests for medical provider, as needed. Provides health education to patients and families. Performs other duties as assigned.
LPN - Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting by obtaining vitals and preparing the patient for the provider exam including the nursing assessment of the patient.  The nurse is also responsible for performing CLIA waived labs, performing diagnostic testing, administering injections and immunizations and the management of IV patients under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner.  Responsible for coordinating patient care with other health care providers, communication with patients in regards to prescription refills, facilitates on-going care and the coordination of care and through provider direction reports lab and diagnostic results, filling out appropriate forms associated with the patient visit, filling out paperwork for insurance companies, other health care providers and other organizations.
